Your Questions, Answered!

1. What is the typical duration of the Task Genius recruitment process? Our recruitment process generally takes 7 to 14 days. However, this timeline may vary depending on: The level of experience required for the role The availability of qualified candidates in our talent pool The speed at which we receive essential details from you, such as the job description and specific requirements We believe that investing a few extra days to find the most suitable candidate is worthwhile for long-term success.

2. Does Task Genius provide training for the Virtual Assistant (VA)? While Task Genius does not offer direct training, all VAs in our database have undergone a screening process to ensure they possess relevant experience and skills. However, if you prefer to hire an entry-level VA or a recent graduate, we can assist with that as well. We emphasize that while experience is beneficial, a candidate’s adaptability, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn are just as critical to success in a role. If you require specialized training, you may need to provide onboarding materials or training sessions specific to your business.

3. Is Task Genius responsible for processing my VA’s salary payments? No. The VA you hire through Task Genius is considered your direct employee. They are not employed by Task Genius, and therefore, all payment arrangements—including salary, schedule, and payment method—are determined between you and your VA.

4. What if I am not satisfied with the final candidates provided? While rare, if you do not find a suitable VA from the initial selection, we offer a 10-day guarantee, which includes: A second batch of three candidates at no additional cost If necessary, a third and final batch of three candidates If you are unable to hire a VA after three rounds of candidate presentations, the recruitment contract will be voided and canceled. At this point, a new contract would be required for further hiring efforts.

5. What is the recommended hourly rate for Virtual Assistants? Task Genius ensures that all VAs are fairly compensated based on their skills and job responsibilities. We recommend a minimum hourly rate of $8 to $10 USD, depending on factors such as: The complexity of the tasks assigned The VA’s level of experience and expertise Industry standards for similar roles

6. Do you offer part-time Virtual Assistants? Yes, we do provide part-time Virtual Assistants. However, most candidates prefer full-time and long-term positions. If you plan to transition your VA from part-time to full-time in the future, we recommend stating this clearly in your job description to attract the right candidates. 7. Are there discounts available for hiring multiple Virtual Assistants? While we do offer discounts for returning clients, we do not provide discounts for hiring multiple VAs at once. This is because the recruitment process involves extensive work, including: Job posting and candidate sourcing Screening, background checks, and reference verification Interviews and skill assessments Our focus is on quality over quantity, ensuring that each VA meets your specific requirements.

8. How do I pay my VA, and what is the typical salary range? The most commonly used payment method among Filipino VAs is WISE, but other options such as PayPal, Payoneer, and bank transfers may also be used. Salary expectations vary based on job complexity and experience: Part-time General VAs: $500 - $1,000 USD per month Full-time General VAs: $1,000 - $2,000 USD per month For specialized roles or highly experienced VAs, salaries may exceed these ranges.

9. What is the 13th-month pay in the Philippines, and am I required to provide it? The 13th-month pay is a government-mandated end-of-year bonus in the Philippines, equivalent to one month’s salary or a pro-rated amount based on employment duration. While overseas employers are not legally required to provide it, offering this benefit can significantly improve employee morale and retention. Many VAs appreciate this gesture, as it is a standard benefit in the Philippines and contributes to long-term loyalty.

10. If I decide not to proceed with hiring, can I still use my credits or non-refundable fee? We value the time and effort put into the recruitment process. If you decide not to proceed with hiring, your credits remain valid during the three-month probation period. However, if they remain unused after this period, the contract will be considered completed, and a new agreement (with a new payment) will be required for future hiring needs.
